Dr Heather Carr
MBBS FRACGP
Dr Heather Carr is from Sydney. After completing her chemical engineering degree and working in the field, she decided to follow her dream into medicine at the University of Sydney. She has pursued her passion for rural medicine by relocating to Tamworth.
Dr Carr enjoys all aspects of General practice and has special interests in womens and childrens health, aboriginal health and preventative health. She particular enjoys the diversity that general practice has to offer including procedural work including skin checks and excisions, Mirena and Implanon insertions. Dr Carr is dedicated to providing comprehensive quality care for all her patients from cradle to grave.
Dr Ahmed Abdelraouf
MBBCh,AMC,MS,Dip Cardic,EDIC
Now working FULL TIME
Dr Ahmed has over 16 years of medical experience across many settings caring for acute and chronic medical conditions and has additional qualifications in critical care medicine. He is interested in all aspects of General Practice. Dr Ahmed has a particular interest in skin cancer and has several additional qualifications in this area. Dr Ahmed has been living in Tamworth for many years and worked at the hospital before moving into General Practice. He is looking forward to joining Windmill Practice in July 2025 and is accepting registrations for new patients.
Dr Marivi Allaga
MBBS FRACGP
Marivi undertook her medical training in the Philippines and worked as a doctor there for many years. She moved to Australia with her family several years ago and had been working as a doctor in Tamworth for more than 4 years before moving into General Practice in 2023. Marivi is interested in all aspects of General Practice, has a special interest in Palliative Care and has completed her General Practice Specialist training.
Dr Nisha Krish
MBBS
Dr Nisha Krish has more than 12 years of clinical experience in general practice. She has been working as a rural General Practitioner in Australia for almost 5 years before moving to Tamworth with her family. Dr Nisha is interested in all areas of general practice, particularly Chronic Disease Management, Women’s Health, Aged Care and Mental Health. Dr Nisha is very pleased to join the Tamworth Community and the Windmill Practice Team.
Dr Hadis Norouzi
General Physician Degree – MD
Dr. Hadis Norouzi completed her medical training in Iran and practiced as a family General Practitioner there for couple of years before moving to Australia with her family.
She is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients by taking the time to listen attentively and address their individual health concerns. In her leisure time, Hadis enjoys walking, reading books, watching movies, travelling and spending time with her family and cat.
